We purchased a custom table (40″x90″) from Duvall & Co. after seeing them on Facebook and seeing a friend’s table made by them. The table is absolutely beautiful: well-made, durable enough to be our forever-table. The Duvall & Co. team were able to match the specific stain color we wanted. Most of our pieces are hand crafted from solid furniture-grade maple. We work with all solid hard woods so if you have another wood species in mind like black walnut, white oak, cherry or re-claimed barn wood, just let us know. We hand select only the nicest pieces of wood with a lot of depth and character from which we create our pieces. We never work with particle-board, MDF or veneer. Each piece is finished by hand with the highest grade commercial finishes that enhance the natural beauty of the wood’s grain and color variations.

Because we custom-build every piece to order, there are an unlimited number of modifications that can be made to every piece. If you don’t see exactly what you are looking for, just tell us and we’ll let you know if we can do it.

Our furniture pieces are built to last so they can be passed down to the next generation. The biggest dilemma you may have after acquiring a beautiful custom piece from Duvall & Co. will be determining who will inherit the cherished piece of furniture. If you have a growing family like ours, you should probably purchase several pieces to be safe!

CEO And Founder

David worked as a carpenter’s assistant in high school. This sparked a passion in David that led him to strive for perfection by continuing to hone and sharpen his furniture design and build skills. He started Duvall & Co. out of his garage 10 years ago when his wife wanted a quality custom table for their home but could not find exactly what she wanted. Duvall & Co. has grown into one of the leading custom furniture design firms in North Carolina, the furniture capital of the United States.

Co-Founder, Marketing Director And In-House Interior Designer

Dani is the in-house designer at Duvall & Co. She has made a name for herself in the Raleigh area within the luxury residential market. She now exclusively offers her services to Duvall & Co. clients. She will help you from start to finish in the process of designing your table. She will also curate a magical dining space by selecting dining chairs, lighting, rugs and decor that will make your space feel warm, inviting and of course….BEAUTIFUL!

Shop Manager And Master Craftsman

Matt is a third-generation woodworker from Cleveland, Ohio. He made the move to full-time woodworker after receiving his PhD in Comparative Literature. He is also an expert at CAD design and 3D spatial rendering helping our clients visualize any design.
